Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)                                                                                                              

Status: Full-Time

Qualifications:  Graduate of approved Nurse Practitioner (NP) program or Physician Assistant (PA) program. Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required for PAs.  Current California license, DEA license and BLS certification required.  Two (2) years experience family practice in a rural healthcare setting preferred.  Will consider exceptional new grad!  GYN and geriatric experience desired.  Provides direct primary care, including assessment, treatment and follow-up of assigned patients in rural hospital-based clinic.  Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, staff, general public and governmental agency reps.  Mid level computer skills required as all documentation is done via electronic medical records.
